ABOUT GRETCHEN'S GARDEN
Discover My Story
Gretchen’s Garden was born from a simple idea when my husband and I purchased our Scituate home in 2024. The charming property came with several garden beds, patiently waiting to be filled with life.
With a passion for amateur landscape design and a love for the beauty flowers bring to a home, it felt like the perfect moment to bring the two together.
In the winter of 2025, I made the exciting decision to dive in and start growing my own flowers, with the goal of sharing them with my local community.

I'm back for year two — and if my first season taught me anything, it's that flower farming is full of beautiful surprises. I came into this with no farming experience, no rulebook, and a whole lot of hope. What grew from that? Well, you're looking at it. And honestly, I'm still figuring it out as I go. Flower Subscriptions
Our 4-week bouquet subscriptions are filled with our Spring, Summer and Fall favorites. Enjoy several consecutive weeks of our beautiful hand-tied arrangements, filled with all your favorites such as Ranunculus, Anemone, Sunflowers, and of course, Dahlias.
Being a member means you share in some of the risks and rewards of farming without pulling weeds.
Fresh Market Bouquet
Brighten your day with our signature market bouquets, lovingly hand-picked from our own flower fields. These seasonal arrangements capture the vibrant beauty and natural charm of flowers at their peak freshness - no two bouquets are exactly alike! Bouquets come in petite (5-7 stems), medium (14-16 stems) and large (25+ stems).

Mason Jar Arrangements
Bring the beauty of our fields straight to your home with our charming mason jar flower arrangements. Each jar is hand-picked daily from our farm and thoughtfully arranged with a seasonal mix of vibrant cut flowers and fresh greenery.
These rustic-chic arrangements capture the essence of country living in a convenient, ready-to-display package. Mason jars come in small (6-8 stems) and large sizes (14-16 stems).

Let us create a one-of-a-kind bouquet designed just for you! Our custom farm fresh cut flower bouquets are handcrafted using the finest blooms grown right here on our farm, tailored to your specific vision and occasion.

The Bloom Bar is here — and it's exactly what it sounds like. Fresh stems. Farm grown. Yours to arrange. Are you a florist, wedding designer, or event planner on the South Shore? We'd love to be your farm. Gretchen's Garden grows specialty cut flowers right here in Scituate — we're talking freshly cut anemones, ranunculus, snapdragons, dahlias and seasonal specialties that you just can't get from a wholesaler. We deliver locally and keep things simple. Get in touch and let's talk flowers!

OUR COLLABORATIONS
Appleton Field Community Garden
I have the good fortune of partnering with Appleton Field Community Garden, a remarkable project that cultivates community, ecological well-being, and our collective relationship to the land. This partnership has provided me with two generous 10x20 plots, giving me 400 additional square feet of dedicated space to grow cut flowers while contributing to this collaborative land stewardship initiative.
Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile
I'm excited to have partnered with Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile & Sugar Shack in Cohasset, Massachusetts to bring fresh, locally-grown cut flowers to the community. My seasonal blooms are now available at this charming retail destination, offering customers the perfect opportunity to bring the beauty of local agriculture into their homes. Our flowers are available at Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile every Friday through Sunday.
Three Sisters Provisions
Our seasonal blooms have found a home at Three Sisters Provisions in Cohasset, where farm-fresh flowers meet their thoughtfully curated selection of gourmet foods, craft beverages, and artisan goods. Stop by their cozy market to pick up a bouquet alongside ingredients for dinner or treats for your next gathering—it's the perfect pairing of local flowers and local flavor.
